So much more than just a bike ride, it’s an experience you can be part of.
There are four carefully planned routes, a taster route for those new to cycling and three ToP classic routes, all of which climb the highest paved road pass in Pembrokeshire, Bwlch y Gwynt
Registration items including timing chip and ride number are posted to you prior to the event for your convenience
The Tour of Pembrokeshire uses ‘ride past’ timing points which means that you can carry on riding safe in the knowledge that we’ve got your time.
We use a live results screen at the venue and online so that you can see how you and your friends have done
The Continental Tyres Timed Hill Climb adds a little spice to the event giving you the chance to get a little competitive along the way and win some great prizes in the process.
Parts of the event and feed stations are webcast on Facebook live
Professional photographers at various points around the route and drone video footage capturing you at your best.
We give you the opportunity to meet famous personalities taking part in the event, in the past Chris Boardman and Dame Kathrine Grainger have taken part.
In January each year we run a prologue event for journalists and any members of the public who would like to join us and get a taste for the route and the event
The Tour of Pembrokeshire runs monthly ‘ride outs’ to familiarise riders with the routes and challenege that the Tour poses, come and join us.
The Tour of Pembrokeshire has installed a number of ‘Roadstead’ kit stops in various cafes around Pembrokeshire where you can buy maintenance kit and nutrition or use some tools if you are caught out while riding. Please visit: www.roadstead.uk for details and routes.

Our feed stations are regarded as some of the best you’ll ever visit, while you can get a banana, some energy drink and a Welsh Cake you can also get a variety of homemade food including: spelt bread and jam, Welsh beef faggot sausages, Welsh vegetarian pasties, bara brith, flap jacks, local potatoes and we’ll even arrange GF if you let us know your requirements.

People talk about the fantastic atmosphere at the Tour of Pembrokeshire and lots of friendships have been made at the event over the years.
The community spirit is special and visitors really appreciate the Pembrokeshire welcome. The event benefits local businesses and supports seven charities as well as a host of smaller organisations. The main beneficiaries are; The Wales Air Ambulance, The Paul Sartori Foundation, the R.N.L.I., The DPJ Foundation for mental health care, Velindre Cancer Care, Prostate Cymru, Blood Bikes Wales and the RAF Cadets.
