The all-new 2012 Tour of Pembrokeshire promises to be the best yet, with a brand new venue, three fabulous new routes. Highlights will include superb feed-stations, breath-taking climbs, fabulous scenery, a timed hill climb and we well be giving a fabulous Trek bicycle to the rider who raises the most sponsorship. On the Sunday there will be a family treasure hunt ride arranged with the help from staff at The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The Venue

Parking
Riders not wishing to ride in from their accommodation will be able to either park in the main car park adjacent to Oriel y Parc, at Pilgrim’s Way Car Park or at Golden Vale Car Park.

The Start and Finish Venue
Oriel y Parc, St Davids
Oriel y Parc is an amazing and innovative building which sits discreetly in the landscape adjacent to the main car park in St Davids. It provides the perfect start and finish venue for The Tour and will be buzzing with cyclists; manufacturer product displays; demonstrations, including a mountain bike skills course and short talks will be given in the tower. There will be refreshments and food (free to Tour riders on Saturday 12th) available from the Oriel y Parc Café throughout the weekend.

The Start and Finish Timings
Every effort has been made to cater for the needs of each rider. In addition to registration on Friday 11th May, there will be a two hour window to register on the day, providing an on-line entry has been completed and a one and a half hour starting period to assist those not staying for the weekend.

Feed-stations
There will be feed-stations at: The Pendre Inn Fishguard; the RNLI shop at Poppit Sands; The Boncath Inn, Boncath; Pontfaen Gwaun Valley and The Jubilee Hotel, Letterston. All will be well stocked with TORQ energy products, bananas, Welsh cakes and other nutritious items. Live music is planned to help riders on their way.
The Routes
There are three routes to choose from; 50 miles, 75 Miles and 100 miles, all of which may be viewed and downloaded from the website.
Fabulous Hill Climb
Test your hill climbing ability on this timed climb, you’ll be rewarded with magnificient views at the summit.
Rider Support
There will be mobile support to assist riders with any mechanical repairs or recovery.
Photography
Martin Ennis and his team will be capturing shots at some great locations and aim to have all pictures on-line within 48 hours.
