Welcome to Tour of Pembrokeshire Cyclosportive

Just back from Wales, What an awesome ride, lost count of the climbs, every one a killer.
Although it was a hike to reach from Hampshire it was well worth it. Organization was brilliant. Definitely harder than Sundays' Dragon.

Martin

Just returned from a wonderful first visit to Pembrokeshire & would like to let you know how much I enjoyed the event. I have participated in quite a few sportives etc. all of which were pretty well organised but I have to say yours beat them all. Excellent signposting and organisation but most noticeable was the enthusiasm and friendliness of all the marshals & officials.

Barry

Well done on a superb event. First class organization . Looked like you have been doing it for years. I've ridden many sportives but this was up there with the best in terms of organization and course. Any dates for next yr yet as I have to organize holidays 1 yr in advance? Congratulations again.

Martin

Thank you for a brilliant day.
I have not done one of these events before but it was expertly organised, I had a fantastic day and everything went smoothly. The massage tent was a very welcome sight at the end of the day.

Mark

Superb...what more can I say. Have ridden lots of sportives and this was up there with the best. Course superb / organization first class. Congratulations to you all. I'm so glad the weather held out. Not even a snapped spoke / buckled wheel after 5 miles that slowed me down spoilt it!!!! Are you planning another next year? If so any dates yet so I can book time off / accomodation? Once again thanks for all your efforts and a great day. I think you will have a lot more entrants in future once word gets around.

Regards.
Martin

Just wanted to say personally it was a great event. I've done a couple of sportives, and this was the best organised so far in terms of location, marshals, food/drink at stops. The route was damn hard too, no time to warm up before you hit the hills and the last 5 miles was tough too.
I'll be a definite again for next year, to try and beat this yrs time, will try and get more from local club to come along too.

Rob

Just a quick note to say thank you for organising everything and how much I enjoyed the day. The countryside was beautiful, the route well signed and the marshalling terrific. The rest of the family really enjoyed the beaches as well!

Sean

Just a brief note to say how much I enjoyed the event last week and how well organized it was. You have done yourselves and Pembrokeshire proud. Very well done. The five I cycled with all loved it, despite the fact we were shattered at the end. We will definitely do it next year, although may get a quicker bike.

Jeremy

Just to say I haven't heard anyone say a bad word about the Tour - it was a fantastic day, well marshalled and we felt really welcome too, before, during and after the event. It was a great showcase for Pembrokeshire, even for those of us living locally.

Tanis

Just like to say how much I enjoyed the event on Sunday. Perfect weather, great course and a real challenge. Well signed and helpful marshals and officials. Hope to see you again next year!

Graham

Just wanted to pass on my thanks to everyone involved in Sunday’s sportive, it was a fantastic day out.

I've had the pleasure of taking part in quite a few sportives and rate this one up there with the best of them, it was superbly run.

Fantastic route, lots of friendly marshals, well stocked feed stations...i could go on, you all got it right in all departments, well done!

See you next year :)

George

There were around a dozen or so of us either from Pembs Tri – or friends who’d travelled down to do it, the general consensus was that it was a really good event, well organized, great route, and the food and massage at the end went down a treat

One of the guys who travelled down from South Wales commented in an email Monday “I have fallen in love with Pembrokeshire and was mighty impressed by the ride, the route was great, the marshalls fantastic, the feed stations and the food were just right and at the right points along the way. Obviously, the weather helped too but overall a 9/10 I think”

Rhiannon

Just a quick thank you to all of the organisers for an absolutely fantastic day. I can honestly say i will never forget it for the rest of my days! The most strenuous and painful thing I have ever done in my entire life! But what a place to be in pain....those images will also stay with me.
